Many people are born without much choice...they must be what their parents are...duplicates of their parents in almost everything. I was given the choices in life ... I had my share of hardship as I grew up in a not-well-to-do family. Each day I face a new challenge... a choice to make...a decision to make...to be Good or Bad...to be hardworking or idle...so many choices & decisions to make as I journey through the years of budding teenage time to adulthood. Any unwise choice would land me in hot soup. I know that not many people in this world would like to read my blog. The bottom line is : I am telling you the Truth! This world hates Truth...many people enjoy indulging in sinful activities and called that freedom and enjoyment. At the end of their days on earth...they may come to a cross road or a dead end...and some may still repent on time...some just too bad and too late..they have no second chance. I was born and raised up in an "Ancestors Worshiping " family and everything was like an obligation ... I must be filial to my parents and their beliefs and religions must also be mine. Then after much struggles through the years I knew deep inside that one day I would have to face the Truth! There will be a moment of truth for me to choose wisely between death and life. At last at the age of 25 I was given the freedom to seek and find the path to the Truth.Though it was not easy at first and there was not exactly a total freedom but my parents allow me to make my own choice as long as they could see drastic changes in my life. Sometimes...I regret for not being able to make my choice much earlier. I believe if I did I would have been a much better person. Anyway as it had come later...I am still grateful I changed much as I seek and continue to live by the Truth.
See, many people thought religion is good..until they realized that religions divide...but what I am telling you is Faith...living faith in the Living God and the Living Truth! There can't be too many ways to Heaven! There can't be too many gods that lead to Heaven! I made my choice based on Truth...too many people are just religious but not faithful...they believe in more than one God...and so many are misled to believe in a god that was and is not in existence! Billions are deceived to believe in man-made gods...and false prophets and teachers come to deceive many. Yet there are many who worship the "unknown" God...mankind are desperate to seek God but all had fallen short of glory...all have sinned and need to be redeemed...not by the blood of animals...not by human sacrifice...but by God's very own beloved Lamb of God...The One and Only..JESUS CHRIST...King of kings, LORD of lords, Son of God, Almighty Saviour and Gracious Redeemer! He gave Himself to be a sacrifice Once and forevermore...took our place and died on the cross of Calvary! He had finished the Work of Redemption! His Pure Holy Blood forever cleanse the sins of the world...He took all upon Himself as a Ransom to set us free. That was the choice I made to accept and believe by faith...What the Lord sets free is free indeed! John 10 :10,11 "....I am come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the Good Shepherd; the Good Shepherd giveth His life for His sheep." For this choice I had made...there is No Turning Back...there is no 360 degrees turn..it is a 180 degrees turn from sinful worldly things to Godly things...not earthly bound but heavenly bound. Praise and glory be to God Almighty!
